Sudden Changes

When teaching an autistic child, don't make any sudden changes to the classroom or schedule. Sudden changes create a disturbance for the student and they can't cope well.

Intergration

Have a variety of activities that involve all the senses. Don´t forget the sense of smell, touch, sound, sight, and taste.

Communicate

Always communicate around a student with autism. Talking is very important because they model what you say. Name different objects and always say your words clearly.
